Is Melon VPN safe?
Yes. All traffic is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using Melon-Link, our in-house protocol, and we operate a no-logs policy: browsing history, traffic destinations, DNS queries, IP addresses and session timestamps are never stored.
- AES-256-GCM
- 0 traffic logs

What encryption does Melon VPN use?
Every packet is wrapped in AES-256-GCM. GCM is an authenticated mode: if a single byte is altered in transit, decryption fails rather than returning modified data. Keys are negotiated per session and never leave the endpoints.
What does “zero traffic logs” mean in practice?
| Never recorded | Collected |

The full wording is in our Privacy Policy.
Do you keep connection logs?
No. We do not record which server you connected to, when, or for how long. That is what makes abuse handling harder for us and safer for you — we consider that a fair trade.
What about third-party ad SDKs?
The iOS app contains no third-party advertising SDK. The Android build is ad-supported; you can remove ads by watching a rewarded ad for extra time or by subscribing to VIP. Ads are served without access to your browsing traffic.
How do I reach support?
Email wild.look.tech@outlook.com. We reply within 24 hours. There is no chat queue and no phone line — one channel, answered by people.
How is the app rated?
4.46 out of 5 from 5,714 App Store ratings, and 4.2 out of 5 from more than 334,000 Google Play reviews. Both are held by the stores, not by us.
Does Melon VPN work with streaming services?
Streaming is not guaranteed. Some routes work better than others for services such as Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and BBC iPlayer, and results vary by region, network and the service itself. We tune routes based on what users report — if something does not work for you, email us and we will look into it.
What we deliberately do not publish
We do not publish server port numbers, node IP ranges or the way our obfuscation layer is built. A VPN that documents how to identify its own traffic is handing a blocklist to every network that wants to filter it. The protocol, the cipher and the logging policy are public because you need them to judge us; the parts that would only help someone interfere with the service are not.
