Is Melon VPN free?
Melon VPN is free to download and free to try. The free tier is limited by session time; VIP removes the limit and the ads. Weekly VIP is $4.99, monthly $9.99, yearly $49.99.
Does Melon VPN keep logs?
No. We keep zero traffic logs — no browsing history, no traffic destinations, no DNS queries, no IP addresses and no connection timestamps.
What protocol does Melon VPN use?
Melon-Link, our in-house protocol. It encrypts traffic with AES-256-GCM and carries the session over Fast TCP.
What encryption does Melon VPN use?
AES-256-GCM, which is authenticated encryption: altered data fails to decrypt instead of silently returning corrupted output.
How many servers does Melon VPN have?
631 servers across more than 100 regions.
Which countries can I connect to?
More than 100 regions, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, Canada, Brazil, India, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Does Melon VPN work on Wi-Fi, 4G and 5G?
Yes. Melon-Link is built for mobile networks and keeps the session alive when the phone moves between Wi-Fi and cellular.
Can I choose which apps use the VPN?
Yes. Per-app split tunneling lets you pick which apps route through the tunnel and which use the normal connection.
How much does Melon VPN cost?
$4.99 per week, $9.99 per month or $49.99 per year, billed by the App Store or Google Play.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Melon VPN → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Melon VPN → Cancel.
How do I contact Melon VPN support?
Email our support address. We reply within 24 hours.
Is there an official Melon VPN APK?
No. We publish through Google Play only and do not distribute standalone APK files. Any APK offered elsewhere was not released by us.
Is Melon VPN available for PC?
No. It is an app for iOS and Android; there is no Windows or macOS client.
Does Melon VPN slow down my connection?
Some overhead is unavoidable in any VPN. On mobile networks the difference is usually smaller than the variation between two signal bars, because Fast TCP avoids the retransmission stalls that UDP tunnels hit when packets are dropped.
Do I need an account to use Melon VPN?
No. Install, open, connect. There is no email signup and no password to remember.
Is Melon VPN safe on public Wi-Fi?
Your traffic is encrypted between your device and our servers, so the operator of the local network cannot read it. Certificates presented by websites are handled by your browser and operating system, which is a separate layer.
Where is Melon VPN based?
The service is operated from Singapore.
Does Melon VPN work with streaming services?
Streaming is not guaranteed. Some routes work better than others for services such as Netflix, Disney+ and BBC iPlayer, and results vary by region and network. We tune routes based on what users report.
Can I use Melon VPN on more than one device?
Yes. One subscription covers multiple devices.
What happens to my data if I stop using Melon VPN?
Nothing is retained to delete. We do not store traffic logs, so there is no history to keep, hand over or lose.
